The conference will be held on Porquerolles, the largest island of the Îles de Hyères archipellago, 2.6 km away from the south of Giens Peninsula. It has enchanting wild landscapes, beautiful beaches, and lots of hiking trails.
The conference venue is at the Hôtel Club Igesa Porquerolles, rue de la Douane, Porquerolles. Accomodation is included in the registration fee.
We are welcoming you for the diner at 19:00 on May 18, 2026. Conference sessions will be held from Tuesday 19th morning to Thursday 21st afternoon.
Transportation is not included in the registration and should be planned on your own.
To reach Porquerolles, you need to take a boat shuttle. The main boat company TLV operates from the Tour Fondue pier in Giens. Crossing lasts 10 minutes. Tickets can be booked online or purchased on site. Some shuttles operated by other companies from other harbors, but beware that they do not operate every day and may not allow a deferred trip back. If you prefer, you can book a taxi boat; see additional information on the tourism office website.
The international airport of Toulon Hyères is situated less than 10km from the Tour Fondue pier.
From the airport, you can take a taxi or public transportation, for example, line 102 to reach Hyères center and then line 67.
By train, you can reach Hyères train station in approximately 5h from Paris (there are some direct trains) or 1h30 min from Marseille. You can consult thetrainline.com or SNCF to plan your trip. From there, you can also take bus line 67 to reach the Tour Fondue pier.
By car, several large pay parking lots are located near the Tour Fondue pier.
The registration includes accomodation and all meals from diner on Monday, May 18 until breakfast on Friday, May 22, 2026. See here to register.
